The ANG Theatre Society is opening a new season!

Our first feature: The Mountaintop, by American playwright Katori Hall, starring renowned Montreal artists Tristan D. Lalla and Letitia Brookes, and directed by acclaimed Toronto director Ahdri Zhina Mandiela.

This award-winning play is a story of Martin Luther King Jr.’s last night at the Lorraine Motel before he was assassinated, the day before delivering his legendary "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech in Memphis, Tennessee.  The play explores his humanity, his flaws and his strengths, where the civil rights movement stood at the time of his passing as well as what still needs to be achieved.
