How it works
You can reserve one 30-minute time slot per week. If you wish to work with another student, the two of you can each reserve a timeslot in order to obtain 60 minutes of assistance together. Cancellations must be done at least 24 hours in advance.
Make an appointment
For the 2020 semester, the English Help Desk service is offered online via the platform Zoom from September 14 to December 8. To make an appointment, use the links below to open the Doodle reservation form. Enter your full name and select the time slot that you wish to reserve. (If a box is unclickable, that means that has already been reserved by another student.) Make sure to provide your email address so that we can send you a confirmation email within 24 hours after you have reserved.
Access the meeting space
At the time of your appointment, click on the appropriate link below to access the virtual meeting room on Zoom:
- Virtual meeting room for Monday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Virtual meeting room for Monday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Virtual meeting room for Tuesday 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Meetings without an appointment
Need help but haven’t had time to reserve in advance? You can simply click on one of the Zoom links above (during the indicated hours or service) and you will be placed in a virtual waiting room. If the time slot has not already been reserved by another student, the Help Desk personnel will meet with you (on a first come, first served basis).
