Micro-Programs and concentrations (15 credits)
A micro-program consists of five courses and is an independent program. An application with UQAM (French form) must be completed for micro-programs.
A concentration consists of the same five courses, but it can be done while completing another UQAM program (if the program’s structure allows it or with the program’s direction permission). Admission to a concentration is made through the form Application for Admission to a Concentration in a Foreign Language (French form).

Individual or Elective Classes
Students from other programs at UQAM and independent students (information in French) can take individual or elective courses in the following languages and cultures:

Students who wish to enrol in one or more individual or elective courses will be able to do so during their registration period. A list of courses available to all students is available online (information in French). The list of courses offered at École de langues (information in French) is available under the Program and Courses menu at the top of the page.
Individual and elective courses can be credited (information in French) for students who eventually enroll in a program at the École de langues.
